They lottery pick waitlisted students when I called and asked. Which is kind of bogus LOL It doesnt matter your GPA or the amount of experience when you are waitlisted because they lottery pick waitlisted applicants by luck

don't blame you Springfield is extremely far. I continued at NIU instead since the chicago campus is packed and barely has any spots open for anyone from what it seems like.

The deadline is April 30th to confirm to accept or decline the waitlist position. I entered my name last name and email. And I don't think there is a conformation email I even screenshoted in case and resubmitted to make sure I wasnt reading anything wrong but after you confirm your position to be waitlisted you don't get a email conformation after

And just wait to hear back from UIC before august I believe they would reupdate waitlisted students? Not sure how exactly things are going to be arranged but I really hope UIC does let me know as soon as possible. The waiting process is the worst

Exactly your right. I am just in an extremely tough position. NIU school of nursing accepted me right away and I know people who got denied from NIU. I just have no idea if I should accept the waitlist and continue to accept entry to NIU in case? No idea what to do ?

I usually try to forget about it and try keeping myself busy to not think about it so time flies, it usually works. I start getting worried and nervous during the actual week in mid April as the time comes haha

I had gotten an email back that mid April two weeks from today is when we will hear back

That is amazing!! I really hope you get accepted as soon as possible to your dream first pick choices so you would know where you stand in terms of the waiting process. I applied only to UIC and NIU, I got an email yesterday morning from NIU that I had been accepted so im happy about that considering NIU is just as competitive as UIC as they are both public top schools across illinois. I am leaning more towards UIC in terms of location though
