UH Manoa GEPN Cohort 2022

Just checking in to see if anyone will be applying to UH Manoa's GEPN program next week. I'm nervous for the application process so if you guys have any advice or questions, I made this forum for us!

Hey! I don't think there is any harm in following up with them! They said before Christmas and it's been a couple of weeks. I kept reaching out every few weeks because I was so eager to get an answer whether it was good or bad news ?

Good Idea, I just followed up! Seems odd I have yet to hear anything. ?

It seems that people who were accepted or an alternative got an email and people who were denied received a letter in the mail?

Also, were you emailing the gepn email address?

Hi y'all! I posted a few weeks about about getting put on the list of alternatives and today I got an email saying I am accepted!

Thank you so much! I am really hoping the same for you too! It's reassuring to know that people on the waitlist are getting acceptances

Thank you! I applied to the GEPN MS - Advanced Population Health track. I am also from the mainland.

 For those of you who accepted the program offers, where are you planning on living? I'm from Kauai so I have no clue about where to look or when I should start. Thanks!

Question for people who are/have been in the program:

Is it possible for people to leave the program after the first (pre-licensure) year, keep their BSN and their eligibility for taking the NCLEX? If so, how common is it?

I was wondering the same thing. I haven’t seen or heard anything since November

Also, was there a deposit we had to pay to ensure our spot in the program?
