UH Manoa GEPN Cohort 2022

Just checking in to see if anyone will be applying to UH Manoa's GEPN program next week. I'm nervous for the application process so if you guys have any advice or questions, I made this forum for us!

Thank you, you as well! I'm from California so I'm feeling nervous about the timeline... I can't imagine having to move from the mainland and start the program in a month if I get off the waitlist. Are you from out of state too?

Yes I'm from Seattle so I am on the same boat as you about moving so late notice! Hopefully we hear back before Summer.

Chris sent us an email once we were in the program about it. 
 

its basically 2 upper level writing intensives and a HAP course

My application went under review on october 11, but still haven’t received anything back yet. Do they send something even if they don’t choose you?

Yes they should. I have a friend who didn’t get into the program and they sent her a letter in the mail

do you know when she received this letter? did she receive this letter recently? I also havent heard anything about my application and it went under review in September

I emailed them regarding my application and was told to expect a decision towards the end of December.

Have you heard anything back yet? I still havent. Nothing in the mail either. Do you think they are still accepting students?

I’ve received my letter in the mail two days ago informing me that I was unfortunately not accepted.

Has anyone not heard anything still? I have received nothing in the mail and nothing through email. I sent a follow up email the week before Christmas and they said I should hear within the following week or so. Still nothing.....

 

Would you reach back out if  you were me?
