science teacher sends a student in because she thinks he has bilateral ear infection and a "raging" fever cause his cheeks are bright red. Okay sarcastic nurse coming out.."Hi Miss science teacher I have your student in front of me...his face is bright red from running around outside, and he said his ears don't even hurt . so now Im wondering why do YOU think I need to check his ears instead of him being in science class being taught by you?"
Oh you heard his mother is home sick (mom is a teacher and is playing hooky) and there for HE has a bilateral ear infection? oh, okay, I am not checking his ears. If yYOU think he should have his ears checked, please call his mother explain WHO YOU ARE and why you want his ears checked.

Now now, you need to be patient with her, after all she's a teacher, shaping and molding the future of America.

Sounds like the teacher that sent me a student a few minutes ago. Student has red cheeks, just came into building, tardy as usual. Arrived as class was going to lunch. So teacher sees red face and student told her he didn't eat breakfast. Excuse me teacher but your class is going to lunch, let him eat! I checked temp and sent student to lunch.

I want to know too!!
Yesterday I had a student come down with a stomach ache. I sent him back after 10 minutes with no fever/vomiting. He came down a while later with all his things saying "I'm going home" His teacher let him call from the classroom and his mom was on her way. Grrrrr....
Put it in a song and sing it
LOL!!! A few deep breaths and a bottle of water has calmed me down. Non-verbal autistic student's teacher decided that since I would not call and exclude her student from school for being off his behavior meds (taken off by physician due to bad side effects) that she would do it herself. Now, this boy spits and bites even on meds. He did not seem any worse to me than on his medicated days.
There are 4 kids, 2 teachers and 2 TA's in her room! Now, mom mad at me because she wants me to give medicine after teacher called her instead of picking up. Not without a physician order will I restart that medicine after mom kept me on phone 30 minutes 2 days ago upset about the side effects.
I must go now because I need to call the 127 kids on my campus that probably need ADHD meds but are not currently taking to let their parents know they cannot return to public school without their Ritalin RX.
Now that's *****, but not your problem or responsibility to fix.
UG! no fun!
