I will be applying into the Bachelors of Science in Nursing program at UFV for January 2020 Intake. Currently have A-English B-Bio B-Chem and a B-Math of which math I will be upgrading this summer to an A, hopefully.
I am also a RCA and have a lot of volunteer experience as well in the health care field
Would this be a strong enough application? Also, if anyone has experienced the information session or interview please do mention how it works and if there's any way to prepare or sort of get a better idea on what they're expecting.

In the email about the application being reviewed, it said that those invited to an info session will receive their invite through their student email on their myufv. I tried to make an account with my student ID and it didn't work. I called the schools IT department too and they couldn't figure it out either. Does anyone know if they will email your personal email or is it your myufv account?

All emails from health studies have been sent to my person email and my UFV email.
And I finally got an email from health studies saying that they've reviewed my application! Hopefully we hear about info sessions soon!

You don't need to create a myUFV account, it's already created. The username is the student ID # that's mentioned in the email stating your application (top right corner) is being reviewed and your password is the same one you use to access your application status. If you haven't changed your password yet, it would default to YYMMDD (your birthday). You can access your email through the myUFV portal or at https://mymail.ufv.ca/ . I imagine the info session email would be sent to the myUFV email address rather than your person. Either way, you can change your settings on your UFV email so all emails are also forwarded to your personal email - that way you can't miss it! Hopefully some of this info is helpful and you access your account soon. Goodluck! ?

For everyone else, don’t panic!! I saw in a different thread that those going for the LPN access option have the info session before the other applicants!
