UFV January 2020 Intake

Published

I will be applying into the Bachelors of Science in Nursing program at UFV for January 2020 Intake.
Currently have A-English B-Bio B-Chem and a B-Math of which math I will be upgrading this summer to an A, hopefully.

I am also a RCA and have a lot of volunteer experience as well in the health care field

Would this be a strong enough application? Also, if anyone has experienced the information session or interview please do mention how it works and if there's any way to prepare or sort of get a better idea on what they're expecting.

Congrats on all the invites!! ❤️

Honestly, this is such a nerve-wracking process, waiting for the info session invites, then the interview, then mid November for the final decision. This has definitely made me really anxious lol.

Good luck everyone! and to those that haven't got an invite yet, don't stress! I bet more will go out tomorrow as the info sessions got sent out three different times ?

@sta13 I’m stressing pretty hard over here... thanks for the reminder! Good luck on the interview!

Has anyone called to see if theyre still sending them out?

I received an invite this morning! ?‍♀️ Good luck to you guys!!

This might sound like a silly question but by chance does anyone know in what room the interviews will be held?

I was just told to check in at the health studies office. From there I think they will direct us to the interview space.

Yes that’s right! And the health studies office is upstairs

Hey guys. I’m really nervous for the interview.

I just had 2 quick questions.

What would you do if you finished your answer/response way less then the time given?

Also, do you have a couple minutes to read and prepare an answer/response before you go in?

Thank you.

You get a few seconds to read the question or the interviewer will read it, and then you get 3 minutes to answer. If you have extra time you can just sit there, but it’s awkward. And sometimes the interviewer will make small talk or ask a follow up question. Which I’ve been told the follow up question can’t be marked but who knows what they actually put down...

Thanks Arianne! That makes sense. I just hope it’s not too awkward because I like to keep things short and concise.

Thank you for that info! Might be a dumb question but do you voice your response or write it?

We voice our responses to the faculty member assigned to the station. ?
