UFV January 2020 Intake

World Canada CA Programs

Published

I will be applying into the Bachelors of Science in Nursing program at UFV for January 2020 Intake.
Currently have A-English B-Bio B-Chem and a B-Math of which math I will be upgrading this summer to an A, hopefully.

I am also a RCA and have a lot of volunteer experience as well in the health care field

Would this be a strong enough application? Also, if anyone has experienced the information session or interview please do mention how it works and if there's any way to prepare or sort of get a better idea on what they're expecting.

How does everyone feel about their essay? I doubt the two sessions had the same question, but did you walk out feeling confident?

i do not feel that confident about my essay .... i feel like the question was a little weird. hopefully they don’t just base selections for the interview solely off the essays.

Let’s hope interview invites get sent out soon! I find the hardest part of this whole process to be the waiting game. It’s got me feeling so anxious and on edge. Good luck to everyone!

Ugh neither do I ? Their selection process is interesting lol... I’m glad it’s only 4 points, but am also hoping they’re taking other things into account...at least we will know by the end of the week. Hang in there everyone!! ❤️

Hey everyone! Just joined this forum.

I was wondering if you’re invited to the interview, how will you be preparing for it?

I heard that it isn’t a typical interview; there are around 8 stations where you answer questions in 2-3 minutes.

Does anyone know what type of questions they may ask?

I do know they change the questions each semester but they have the same overarching themes.

Thank you in advance!

I did the interview last year, there were questions about a tough time in your life and how you dealt with it, there were questions about procrastination and how it can affect your studying, there were questions about working on a project and how you got the info to the audience.
