I will be applying into the Bachelors of Science in Nursing program at UFV for January 2020 Intake.
Currently have A-English B-Bio B-Chem and a B-Math of which math I will be upgrading this summer to an A, hopefully.
I am also a RCA and have a lot of volunteer experience as well in the health care field
Would this be a strong enough application? Also, if anyone has experienced the information session or interview please do mention how it works and if there's any way to prepare or sort of get a better idea on what they're expecting.
haha I agree! I felt confident walking out of there but now, thinking I could have added to a couple of answers... after each question if I had time, I asked the interviewer what area they worked in. It was nice to get to know them a bit and a little window into the program. ☺️ Now we wait!! ? ??
Hey guys,
So I just got an email saying I didnt make the cut ?
Since I felt pretty confident going in for my second try I'm kinda wondering where I went wrong. So if you guys dont mind, I'm really curious what the applications looked like for those that did get in. I'm kind of at a loss as to what to do next. I know I want to become an RN and feel that my application is as strong as it's going to get. (All A's and 300 volunteer hours)
Thanks and good luck to those that did get in!

Hey tbosman2000, I'm so sorry to hear ? I haven't heard back yet but with those high grades and volunteer hours, I would definitely recommend applying everywhere in BC that you can! Best of luck to you and don't give up!!

Hey, I’m sorry about the results. I did not receive an offer for this intake either.. My second try as well, and completed all the A&P courses, stat, electives, and eng 105. I know it’s discouraging, but don’t take it to heart- just keep applying and you’ll get there eventually.
I have a 3.8 gpa with the courses I’ve applied with, 200 hrs volunteering in two healthcare settings.
