UF Generic BSN 2011

Hey any pre-nursing students out there who applied for UF Generic BSN fall 2011... i didn't see a thread out there so i figured i would start my own. If there are any current nursing students any advice and what was your GPA getting into the program. Thanks a lot and good luck to everyone.

Yes, letters were mailed out Tuesday and it does appear that they've started to arrive today.

Just got my letter! It said "We regret to inform you..." That's all I had to read... I know that there was a very competitive pool this year!!! I got accepted to another generic BSN program at another university, so I'm not without... Good luck to all those who got accepted! And too bad for UF losing out on an amazing candidate like myself!!! :grn:

I totally agree girl. I got my rejection letter in the mail today...major disappointment. 4th school I've been rejected from and not accepted anywhere else :(. Have a 3.67 and that's just not good enough these days. What a bummer....missing out on some damn good candidates!

I got my rejection letter today too. I applied as a transfer student with a 3.9 gpa but I got into FGCU's program so I am going to continue to go there.

still haven't gotten mine yet :/ figured it wouldn't take long for it to reach Tampa. The anticipation is killing me. Are you all transfer students? I'm already a UF student and from what I've been told it's very very competitive especially if you're a transfer so don't feel discouraged. We'll all be nurses one way or another! Wishing you all the best of luck!

I just got my letter and it said, "Congratulations! We are pleased to inform you..." I'm really happy now. Good luck! :)

I just got my letter and this fall i will be a GATOR NURSE... congrats to all those who got in but at the end of the day WE WILL ALL BE NURSES IN THE FUTURE NEVER FORGET THAT. :D
