Mine was a 3.857 overall and a 4.0 in the pre-reqs. Think they said the average for this year's class was a 3.7 overall. Hope that helps.

Just got my letter! It said "We regret to inform you..." That's all I had to read... I know that there was a very competitive pool this year!!! I got accepted to another generic BSN program at another university, so I'm not without... Good luck to all those who got accepted! And too bad for UF losing out on an amazing candidate like myself!!! :grn:

Hey! Just got off the phone with American Databank... They said we only need to provide the city, state, and zip code of the places we've lived. And if we lived within the same county all those times, we can group them into one entry. Example: I lived in four different places within Los Angeles County so I can put Los Angeles, CA 90048 and be done with LA. At least that's what they just told me.. If you want to run it by them yourself call: (800) 200-0853. Can't wait to see the class of '13!

Hi guys!!! I got in too!!! So exciting.. I'm also freaking out about that background check.. I lived in Los Angeles for a while and can not remember for the life of me all the addresses I lived in!! I wonder if that's going to be a problem?!?! Guess we'll all be meeting at orientation!!

That's AMAZING! I have a 3.6 overall and a 4.0 in the pre-reqs. It's incredible how the competition to get into great nursing programs has pushed everyone to get great grades... It means we'll all be better nurses for it! Congrats angeldancer! I'm sure you're a shoe-in!

Hello!! Anyone have an idea of what the average GPA was for last year's admitted class??

Does anyone mind divulging GPA? I was told last year the average for the admitted class was 3.7. I'm chewing my fingers off... We might not hear back until early June!!! :uhoh21:
