UF Generic BSN 2011

Published

Hey any pre-nursing students out there who applied for UF Generic BSN fall 2011... i didn't see a thread out there so i figured i would start my own. If there are any current nursing students any advice and what was your GPA getting into the program. Thanks a lot and good luck to everyone.

Does anybody know the times of the Orientation?

More information regarding registration and orientation will be sent out in a few weeks.

hey guys do you know exactly what type of CPR class we are suppose to take? I looked on American Heart Association and it gives different types of CPR classes. what do you guys think about making a facebook group, so if we have questions we can help each other out..... and we can meet future classmates?

the cpr certification that you should be looking for is a healthcare provider or a professional rescuer course. i would recommend the american heart association since certification from there is good for two years and would cover you while you are in the program. here's a link to a class locator: http://www.heart.org/heartorg/classconnector.jsp?pid=ahaweb.classconnector.home

i would hold off setting up a facebook group for a couple more weeks until the class is set. once it is i cen help set it up and get people added.

Hello there,

This pertains to the next round of admissions. My GPA is currently a 4.0, and I will have completed my associates degree in the fall with a Florida Community College. However, I have not yet taken a foreign language. I am curious if one semester is sufficient with demonstration of proficiency as I may only have time to complete one semester prior to application time, and if a certificate language immersion program abroad is sufficient as well. Thank you for your help.

Hi everyone! I recently got accepted to the nursing program at UF for the Fall and I was wondering what everyone was doing about their living arrangements? I am interested in living with another nursing student if possible. I'm a transfer student who previously hasn't attended UF. Looking forward to meeting all of you soon and Go Gators! :)

Hey guys hope all is well on the road to become a Nurse :nurse:

I have a friend who's stying in a student apartment close to UF with great bus routes. There are 4 rooms in the apartment but only 2 are occupied right now. If you like, I could talk to her and see if her landlord is still taking people in. She's not a nursing student.
