UCSF New RN Grad Training Program 2014

Published

Hello, everyone! UCSF opened a couple of new RN Training Program for January 2014. Just wanted to start a thread. Did anyone else thought the application was abnormally short? I only attached a resume. Did you attach anything else? Good luck!

The neurology/neurosurgery unit finished interviews and will be making hiring decisions by the end of next week. I don't know anything about the other units. I was interviewed, but my status online never changed from "applied", so your online status doesn't necessarily mean anything.

I just realized I got a voicemail from the manager for Heme/Onc for a prescreening interview!

I just had a prescreen interview for adult heme/onc/bmt too! I was caught off guard by the call. LOL. I hope I get a chance to interview. It would be a dream come true!:yeah:

Where do you live db2xs?

Baytobreakers, thanks! I hope you hear some good news soon!

Good luck to everyone! What is the email that people are using to contact hr? I want to know if my resume was forwarded to the adult medsurg unit for interviews?

I would also like to know what e-mail that people are using to contact HR! Thank you in advance!

My interview was with the unit manager and an RN whose managing the applications. They said there was a lot of amazing resumes they had to narrow from and the amount of applications was high. They confirmed for the perinatal cohort 6 total openings for the 16 they interviewed they are done interviewing for perinatal is the feel that I got. I thought the interview went well! They were very personable. Easy to talk to and that always helps because I was so nervous! But the perinatal cohort should be finding out as early as a week to January 6th if they got one of the positions or if they want to do a 2nd round interviews! Gah :(

Good luck!! I hope you get the position! Was the interview long? One of my friends only had a 20 minute interview at UCSF, but I guess it varies between units.

Thank you so much! Yeah mine was just barely 45 mins.

meeks121 without saying anything that will breach confidentiallity. It was long, eat before. everyone was very down to earth and approachable, you get to tour the unit, nothing too crazy, nothing to be worried about, they really just want to get to know you and see if you're a good fit. When is your interview?
