UCSF New RN Grad Training Program 2014

Hello, everyone! UCSF opened a couple of new RN Training Program for January 2014. Just wanted to start a thread. Did anyone else thought the application was abnormally short? I only attached a resume. Did you attach anything else? Good luck!

L&D, congratulations!!! Must be the happiest dance of all time! You just landed my dream job and dream location.

I had my resume sent to 4 units, with no calls. I am curious if you had any prior experience?

Also heard that all units but one are done interviewing.

To all the others out there...I have officially let go of hope after 3 months of hope and anticipation, it feels liberating to accept defeat and move on.

Thank you baytobreakers! It is! I just can't believe it. I have a years couplet care experience. I agree. I felt like whatever their decision was I just needed to know what direction I was going in. Because so much heart and expectation goes into these applications! I wish you the best and hope something comes around for you too! Thanks so much for your kind words.

Thanks, baytobreakers. I worked as a health educator in a chronic conditions management program for 8 years. I was also involved in leadership, volunteer, and teaching activities while in nursing school. Good luck to you!

Neurology and Neurosurgery (8 Long) made offers this afternoon. There were 2 positions available on that unit, and I got one of them.

Med/Surg TCU (14 Moffitt) wraps up interviews tomorrow. There are 4 positions available on that unit. Decisions will be made at the end of this week or early next week.

I did not include any attachments -- just a resume.
