UCSF New RN Grad Training Program 2014

Published

Hello, everyone! UCSF opened a couple of new RN Training Program for January 2014. Just wanted to start a thread. Did anyone else thought the application was abnormally short? I only attached a resume. Did you attach anything else? Good luck!

Hi, Does anyone know how to find the poster about UCSF 2014 new nursing graduate program? Where was it posted? I want to read the requirement.

I think you messaged the wrong person! There's nothing in my other inbox and I never posted about UCSF on fb, though I am in the new grad RN group. My email is [email protected].

Just got a job offer in the ICN at UCSF!! I am still in shock!! Who else is with me in the ICN!?!? Congrats to all who have been offered jobs!!!! :)

Has anyone heard back from PICU for decisions? I know this is the first day, but the anxiety is getting to me!!!

Hi all!

Congrats to everyone who had the opportunity to interview and to those who actually got accepted!!!

My question is, to those who were accepted, do you already have your RN license, interim permit or still waiting to take NCLEX?

Thanks!

I already have my license.

Houseblew,

I haven't heard from the PICU either, but I did get an email from HR asking for my references. Did you get that email, too?

No, I did not get a email, however I did include my references on my resume. When did you get The email? What is your experiences, what is your background?. I hope we both get it, good luck!

Oh okay, that's probably why. I got the email the day after my interview. I'm a recent new grad with over 200 hours of PICU preceptorship. I also have a military background in medical laboratory technology. Good luck to you too!!!

Thanks! I'm similar, I had a 275 hour PICU preceptorship. But I graduated May 2012, I've been working as a rural ER RN for the past year. Best of luck!!

Congratulations CaNICURN on getting an offer for the ICU. I also interviewed, but didn't get it. Would you please share your background and nursing experience? Thanks!

No RN experience, I am a new grad ADN enrolled in BSN program. Preceptorship in NICU as well as an additional NICU preceptorship after graduation.
