UCSF New RN Grad Training Program 2014

Published

Hello, everyone! UCSF opened a couple of new RN Training Program for January 2014. Just wanted to start a thread. Did anyone else thought the application was abnormally short? I only attached a resume. Did you attach anything else? Good luck!

For anyone who was offered a position, did your application status change? Thanks so much!

My status just says "Applied".

I'm wondering if anyone who was offered a position, completed the SkillSurvey reference check has heard back at all and gotten the official job offer?

I feel weird celebrating without an official offer. I don't feel like anything my references said could have been bad. But still :( I'm hoping this whole thing is going so slowly because of the holidays :/

RNnewgrad00, I had my RN license at time of application, and a month of SNF experience by the time I interviewed. @houseblew, my application status never changed from "applied", but, interestingly, I can access the complete application I submitted for the neuro position I was selected for. The other new grad positions I applied for just say "The Job Opening you are trying to access is no longer available" when I click the link, and don't let me view my application.

L&D I've been reserved about celebrating the news without an official offer too. Please post if you move forward in the process! I'm really anxious about it.

I'm in the same boat as you guys. I received the skills survey email right after my interview, but haven't heard anything since. :(

I interviewed a week ago for the PCICU and haven't gotten the skill survey yet. How long did it take others to get it? Hoping things are just slow b/c of the holidays.

Well that makes me feel a little better. Let's keep each other updated SunnyCaliRN and icumurse26! According to a previous post on this thread, January 6th was when they would be making final selections after the reference step so we have about a week.

The order it went for me was interview. Call from the people I interviewed with 4 days after the interview offering me a "conditional" offer of one of the positions, pending my SkillSurvery reference completion. So my last reference finished 12/26 and I just want my official offer already:cry:

I don't live in the SF Bay Area so I've already given my 30 days notice to my current residence AND job. Not getting the job at this point would be quite devastating. Lol.

SunnyCaliRN Thanks for the info. Mine allows me to access all my applications tho :-( Now I'm getting nervous because none of my references have been contacted. The hospital I work at has gone bankrupt so in a few weeks I'm out of a job.

Officially didn't get the position. Best of luck to the rest of you.

I'm sorry @houseblew :( how did you find out? Did they call, email? Best of luck!
