Hello, everyone! UCSF opened a couple of new RN Training Program for January 2014. Just wanted to start a thread. Did anyone else thought the application was abnormally short? I only attached a resume. Did you attach anything else? Good luck!
SunnyCaliRN I think you're right about the different units doing it out of order because my process went like yours did, ,minus the phone calls after the initial conditional offer. I got several emails about the skill survey and one from one of the interviers that was also sent to the rest of the cohort welcoming us in general. I did six just because one was taking so long so I asked one of my current coworkers. They all finished their references at the end of December. So I hate that I haven't gotten a follow up or anything. Sooooo nerve wracking.
How did everyone do with their applications and/or interviews? I heard how competitive it was! A total of 16,000 applications were processed through HR, and 64 were hired. I want to give props to all of you who put in a competitive application, those who made it to the interviews, and of course those who got hired.
It's so nice to see so much support on here!

Bear07_RN2B I guess different units do things differently; I first got an unofficial offer from the nurse manager, who then forwarded me to HR. I was contacted the day after by HR with a phone call (they left a 2 minute voice mail) and several emails regarding the skillsurvey. No further contact since my references completed the survey, however.
Those who already did skillsurvey; did you just do 5 references, or did you include more?
