UCSF New RN Grad Training Program 2014

Published

Hello, everyone! UCSF opened a couple of new RN Training Program for January 2014. Just wanted to start a thread. Did anyone else thought the application was abnormally short? I only attached a resume. Did you attach anything else? Good luck!

That is some tough competition! Sorry you think it's could have gone better. But you never know! Don't be too hard on yourself. This whole thing is nerve wracking as its such an amazing opportunity!

I wish you all the luck! You will never know:)

Hi Kiwisweetiee,

I'm sorry that you felt your interview didn't go as well. I'm sure you did well!! Was wondering if you can give us some advice on how UCSF conducts their interviews, what kind of questions did they ask? behavioral/scenario questions? Was it a panel interview?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Mel124, Did you get a call for an interview? May I ask which unit it is? Thanks!

Hi kiwisweeetiee. Don't lose hope. The fact that you're one of the 25% of the applicants chosen to interview was great in itself. You still have 16-25% of being selected, which is better than the 0% chance those who were not selected to interview have. Just pray and hope on on it!! ;)

Do you happen to know if they're already made the selections for the other adult units?

Has anybody applied to or received any interview calls for Perinatal services or L&D?

Hey there kiwisweeetiee, keep us posted! Interviews are always so intense, no one really knows how you did until you get the word. Don't loose hope. best of luck!!

I've received an interview for Perinatal services. They're only interviewing for L&D this week and next is what I was told. ? So nervous. This would be an amazing opportunity.

Hey L&D

Thanks for replying. When did they call you to offer you the interview? Just wondering if there is still hope to hear from them. Thanks. Good luck!

SFbaynurse,

I got the call yesterday morning. I hope you do too! It's the only area I applied to so I'm hoping it pans out :inlove:

Hi L&D

Congratulations on your interview! Do you know how many Perinatal positions are available and how many candidates they are interviewing?

Thank you freckles RN! I don't have a clue! I didn't ask and to be honest I sort of dont want to know. It doesn't change anything except possibly freak me out. I have to be focused for this one. ?
