UCSF New Grad Spring 2022

Updated:   Published

Hi all! Thought I would start this thread for the upcoming new grad cohort at UCSF for Spring 2022.

From what I've seen on the website, the application period opens on Saturday, January 8 and goes until Saturday, January 15. No lists of which departments are hiring this go around. Must have your license by March 4th. The program starts on April 4th.

I applied last go around, but I didn't have a test date yet. Hoping I can get in this time!

Good luck to all!

Just curious, those receiving offers by phone call or via email?
and congrats to all those getting them.

I think it’s probably based off the unit preference. Mine was email

I didn't apply to any of the adult units, but just curious, did you accept an offer somewhere else?

Yes. I accepted an offer from Stanford. Def would not be turning down otherwise!

ooooooh! I'm so sorry, I don't know doing transitional yet! But I really really hope you hear back soon! I hear they are trying to give out all their offers by next week. ?

It's okay! Thank you for the help. Good luck to everyone waiting to hear back.

Has anyone interviewed for peds heme-onc*** I haven't heard a thing and am wondering if I just completely struck out on even getting an interview.

Sadly, no ? I'm in the same boat. I haven't heard from PICU either. I'm lowkey holding off on completely accepting a job offer for another place because I'm still holding onto the hope of interviewing/being offered a position in PICU or Peds Hem-Onc at UCSF - this would be a dream come true! But...we are in mid-February so I don't know.

Has anyone heard from either of these units? ^^

Specializes in Primary Care.

Total crickets on my end. Losing hope....

PICU is having their 2nd interview rounds this week

Specializes in Registered Nurse.

So I applied to med-surg oncology. My application said interview and then it went back to under review today. I already interviewed. I don't think this is good news at all since I haven't heard back. Has this happened to anyone?

Has anyone heard from L&D or NICU?

Nicu finished their last round of interview this week

Specializes in Med-Surg.

I interviewed with a Med/Surg unit last Friday. Still haven't heard anything back yet. Wondering how much longer I should wait. I have another offer in hand at a different hospital. Didn't think UCSF would be this slow.
