Hi all! Thought I would start this thread for the upcoming new grad cohort at UCSF for Spring 2022.
From what I've seen on the website, the application period opens on Saturday, January 8 and goes until Saturday, January 15. No lists of which departments are hiring this go around. Must have your license by March 4th. The program starts on April 4th.
I applied last go around, but I didn't have a test date yet. Hoping I can get in this time!
I interviewed with a Med/Surg unit last Friday. Still haven't heard anything back yet. Wondering how much longer I should wait. I have another offer in hand at a different hospital. Didn't think UCSF would be this slow.
If it helps, I had an interview with the Peds ED Friday and they said they’d be making decisions this week. I’d say if they don’t email you by Monday, reach out.

Took them exactly a week to get back to me! Maybe you’ll hear by the end of this week but, I hear you, that’s frustrating ?

In the same boat. Have you received an email to provide references? I believe that was the next step before they make offers.

Hey @nyrse ! Did you have a second interview with NICU this week? And have you heard anything yet or know when they plan to make offers? Also do you know how many people they interviewed? Thanks!! ?
To anyone who has received an offer & signed the digital paperwork on the candidate portal - has anyone from HR reached out to you regarding next steps in the pre-employment process?
