Hi all! Thought I would start this thread for the upcoming new grad cohort at UCSF for Spring 2022.
From what I've seen on the website, the application period opens on Saturday, January 8 and goes until Saturday, January 15. No lists of which departments are hiring this go around. Must have your license by March 4th. The program starts on April 4th.
I applied last go around, but I didn't have a test date yet. Hoping I can get in this time!
Oh nice! I'm curious why you turned down that position? Was it not really the type of nursing you are interested in?
Oh I love CVT! I did my preceptorship on a very similar unit. But I got an offer for the ICU and my dream is to provide critical care so I went with that instead ?

However, after reading through this thread, I don't know where I would find a webinar. Could someone please let me know what link I should be keeping an eye out for? Also, what account should I make to upload the necessary documents?
Thanks! If I don't get in this round, I may be with you next one. Just keep checking the new grad site for updates. I asked around about the webinar being recorded and I don't think it was. HR hosted it from what I was told and they would have the recording if there is one. Unfortunately is isn't uploaded anywhere. Go to the UCSF careers website and create an account. In that account you can upload your resume and cover letter(s). You can also set alerts for job postings - I set one for Clinical Nurse I, but I get them for almost anything in that category (CNII, Nurse Managers, etc.). Good luck!
Sorry but wanted to check again to see if anyone else is in the same boat as me - cause I still haven’t heard from HR regarding next steps in the pre-employment process and I signed the digital offer on 2/14. I can’t get anyone to reply to my emails either LOL

I signed the offer on 2/16 and I just got my emails from HR. I think you will get it soon too.
Hey! For those who have received next step emails from HR, can you share what dates the onboarding zoom info sessions are scheduled for? The recruiter mentioned they’d likely be held end of Feb for all the new grads ?Thank you!

I haven't received the e-mails from HR yet either. I signed my offer letter on 2/18.
