Has anyone interviewed for peds heme-onc*** I haven't heard a thing and am wondering if I just completely struck out on even getting an interview.

Hi, can previous applicants share how much RN experience you are allowed to have and still qualify? I scoured their website but I'm not finding the answer.

How do I find it? Nothing is coming up when I search.

I didn’t mind the group interview style! We had about 20 min to talk before we went in and that was nice. The moral support of being in it together was helpful. Tips- parking in the garage (lot 20, I think) was pretty easy, but give yourself time to buy your parking pass and make your way to the building. They gave us a few minutes to ask questions after the interview, so if you’ve been wondering about anything specific about the program, have those in mind.

I'm nervous, too! I wonder if the power outages will impact this process? I know the city will still have power, but it might impact people commuting in (like me). I'm planning on building in a lot of extra time to get there. As far as preparing, I bought a new outfit for the interview, haha. My husband, who is really good at interviewing, suggests bringing to mind different situations where you have had a chance to employ problem-solving or other good qualities. Just have them in recent memory so you can pull on those stories if a question calls for them. Good luck!

Maybe that's spring and fall? I heard 20 in the fall, 40 in the spring. It's hard to keep track of all the programs and their numbers! From their website: Typically 600-700 applications are received for 60-80 spaces each academic year. So that's for both fall and spring.

I've heard that there are usually about 400 applicants, 100 interviews, and 40 admitted. They make their selections based on the combo of application strength and interview. No pressure, lol.
