They were all completed within about 3 days. I let my references know that they should be expecting the email, then texted or called after about 24 hours to confirm that they received it (1st reminder). Some told me they would get to it the next day, so for the ones who didn't I texted again to remind them.

I submitted seven, just in case. Five of them have been completed. They only need five, so my hope is that they wouldn't have to wait for the other two.

I did the same as M_RN. Emailed or texted ahead and then kept bugging people. The two people who I felt the least comfortable bugging are the ones who still haven't completed theirs. I submitted mine Friday night and they were all done by today.

Can someone please give me more information about these references? Did HR email you or did you contact them? And is it a form you have to send to your references to fill out?

I am not sure if I should contact HR or just wait for them to send it, I know it was a holiday weekend but I get so antsy!

SA_RN,

You already have a job offer, correct? If so, I wouldn't worry about references. Maybe your department decided to hire reagrdless of references.

The unit told me when given the offer that I would be contacted by HR to get references...

I'm probably just freaking out way too much! I still feel like this opportunity is too good to be true and that I will wake up to find out it didn't happen. ðŸ˜…

I'll contact them if they don't contact me by the end of the week! :)

Yes, Hr sent out an email asking to submit five names and emails of references. Then UCSF sent those people a link to a survey for them to fill out for us.

Hello SA_RN. I was offered a job in the same unit and was told exactly the same regarding HR. However, I still have not heard anything. I would just say to be patient and if nothing happens, we can contact them end of week. :yes:

Oh yay! I look forward to meeting you!!! The more I talk about it the more it looks like the unit gives HR the contact of who should get the paperwork email/references. So maybe ours didn't give HR the list of who they were interviewing. I could be completely wrong, but it helps ease my mind. I will call by the end of the week if I don't hear anything!

For anyone who interviewed with PCICU, when were you told you should hear back? I interviewed on the 25th and was told 3 weeks, so I am expecting an answer around the 15h. Anyone else hear otherwise?

For those of you that interviewed for 14 Moffitt, have you received a reference check yet? I interviewed yesterday and I believe they will finish interviewing today.
