Hey everyone!
I noticed there wasn't a thread for people to discuss upcoming interviews for UCSF New Grad RN program.
I'm interviewing for the ICN on 9/2. Does anyone have any insights into the interview process or have anything else they want to discuss?
I received an offer on Thursday 9/3 for the birthing unit. They gave me some information over the phone as to when it will start and what would be the next steps before the start of the program. I accepted immediately before they could even give me an option to think it over. Now I am currently waiting for HR to contact me for references and to do other background screenings...For those of you who received offers over the phone, did they expect an answer immediately or give you more information and time to think it over?
@Megora_BSN , @M_RN , and all others who have submitted references -
How many references did you provide, and has the status of all of your references been "completed"?
I submitted references about 1 week ago, but not all of them has been completed yet.
I don't know if it has anything to do the Labor Day weekend, but I am worried
@M_RN - Thanks for replying back. How long did it take for all your references to be completed? And were they all completed before or after your second interview?
It's been 1 week and I've sent two reminder emails to my references so far, but haven't heard back. I'm thinking of contacting them again, but don't want to pester them. How many reminders did you send out to each of your references? And were they by emails or phone? And how did you remind them without sounding demanding or annoying? Your input would be extremely helpful!
