Hello all,
I am at the last semester of the ABSN program at Samuel Merritt. I'm expecting to graduate in early Jan and plan to take the NCLEX early Feb and no later than late Feb. I would like to know the timeline for applying to UCSF's nursing new grad Spring program 2023. Any past experiences with UCSF to share will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you! It was really nerve wrecking. Glad it was on zoom. They couldn't see me keep moving my hands. Wish the best of luck to you too! ?

has anyone heard from Peds medsurg?
yeah, I was hoping to hear back from PICU by now.
but I have a feeling we might have to wait till next week to hear back from both. especially ED since they just announced that they gonna accept new grads.

So mine will be in person for an HOUR next Friday with no other candidates. Has anyone else had this experience? That seems like a very long time.. also anyone have advice on what questions to ask UCSF?
That's pretty normal! Most likely 40-45 minute interview with 15-20 minutes to ask questions. You don't need to limit answers to 2 minutes since you're solo but they shouldn't be like 5 minutes! If not, they expect to finish early and give themselves time before the next candidate.

By behavioral question was it like what would you do in this situation or like "tell us about a time when". ?
