Hello all,
I am at the last semester of the ABSN program at Samuel Merritt. I'm expecting to graduate in early Jan and plan to take the NCLEX early Feb and no later than late Feb. I would like to know the timeline for applying to UCSF's nursing new grad Spring program 2023. Any past experiences with UCSF to share will be greatly appreciated.

Just curious what you guys think?
not necessarily, they emphasize that they value the way you present your passion and potential more than experience; but having experience will be helpful in interview answering clinical questions
Gawddd I am done with interview! I loveddd them! UCSF is such a great organization and everyone was so heartwarming.
Overall the interview really went smooth and the director mentioned that there are 3 units participating (yeah panel of 9) due to their interest. So there can multiple departments fighting for you and that's a definitely a good sign! So do not be afraid ?
I did it so can you! I am sending positive energy to everyone here! I wish you the best of luck and hope to see you at UCSF!

Yay! Best of luck to you! Thanks for sharing your experience. My interview is at 3 and I'm getting nervous.
There were mixture of situational as well as behavioral questions! But I think it might really depends on the interviewer who is conducting the interview!
Trust yourself and shine! You got this ?

Congrats, that is really amazing. If you don't mind sharing what kinds of questions did they ask you? I know it's different for different departments, but just to get a general idea. I'm super nervous for mine and there are so many candidates that its scary.

Adult Surg should be med surg, I don't believe Pre-Op hiring except for PACU. Though things might have changed since the Webinar.
