UCSF New Grad Nurse Residency Fall 2020

Has anyone heard anything about when the applications will be out for UCSF's new grad nurse residency for Fall 2020? Do the applications for the children's hospital and main adult hospital come out at the same time?

Does anyone know which units will or won't be hiring?

Is there a limit to how many units we can apply to? Does it look bad if we apply to multiple units?

Hi! it says March/April on their website and I think its for all the hiring units, children's included.

Don't know which units will be hiring but I plan on applying to their Orthopedic unit.

I think you can apply to as many units but they pay attention to what unit you had your preceptorship.

I'm anxious!! LOL

Hi! From past threads, it seems they open up in mid-April even though their website says March/April.

Does anyone know what all is required for the application?

Hi all! Does anyone know if the application that will be opening up this March/April will be for people that graduated this past December or will be graduating in May of this year? Does anyone know when the start date would be?

Its for people who graduated in December 2019 and the upcoming May 2020 class. Their new grad starts in October.

I was told:

Thanks for your email. UCSF does have a New New Residency Training Program and the openings typically get posted in the May timeframe, so I would recommend that you check our career site to apply: jobs.ucsfmedicalcenter.org/

back in January but I don't think they were in charge of new grad residency program though.

Hi @soontobenewgrad2020, I found it online but I don't think she's in charge of the Residency Program because she didn't seem to know much about it. Her name is Barbara though!
