I thought I would start a new thread. I've read quite a bit of the activity from previous classes and I thought it would be great to get a community of support started for those who have applied for UCSF's MEPN program... not just for us now, but for the future applicants who will read our posts! (: (the added bonus is this thread will be in gender neutral territory
Would love to hear the stories of folks who are applying to nursing programs (UCSF and otherwise).
Thanks!
What we meant by "read over the phone" is that our letters were sent to our permanent addresses rather than our current residences so that we had to have someone read it to us. We were mailed a hard copy letter from the school though. However it might not be a bad idea to call them if you havent heard anything and your online status still says under review. Good luck.
First off, a HUGE "THANK YOU" to the person who provided the link to this thread!!!
Below is my original message, posted earlier elsewhere:
Hi!
I'm considering applying to the USF Second Bac program, though I can't find ANY applicable info on the website with exception of a description of the program... Can anyone let me in on the prereqs to the program (including applicable tests, inclusion of essays, letter of recommendation, GPA, etc)? Also, what is the length of the program? Any information you may have or that you can link me to would be greatly appreciated! I've contacted them, but it is Dec 22 and I think they're closed for the holiday - no response from them as of yet...
I have the micro, anat and phys courses completed - what other prereqs, if any?
Thank you so much!
Hautemilque.. yes I believe you are in the wrong place however there is a USF thread at https://allnurses.com/post-graduate-nursing/university-san-francisco-369516.html... This is a masters entry nursing program to become a Clinical Nurse Leader.. Im not sure if they have a BSN program. Anyway,, assuming you want the Masters Entry program this link has all the info including prereqs. http://web.usfca.edu/nursing/msn_cnl_non-nurse/... good luck!

hi all,
Just found out I got an interview for the pediatrics track on January 29! I was wondering if anybody interviewing on that day would be interested in meeting up for a meal or drinks afterwards. I don't have my letter in front of me because my sister read it to me over the phone, but I believe she said we would finish around noon, although I had thought it was going to be a full-day affair. In any case, let me know if this appeals to you!
