I thought I would start a new thread. I've read quite a bit of the activity from previous classes and I thought it would be great to get a community of support started for those who have applied for UCSF's MEPN program... not just for us now, but for the future applicants who will read our posts! (: (the added bonus is this thread will be in gender neutral territory
Would love to hear the stories of folks who are applying to nursing programs (UCSF and otherwise).
Thanks!
received an invite for the anp track today, postmarked yesterday. i live a stone's throw from the school so it wasted little time in arriving. seems like the letters are just trickling out - an earlier poster mentioned a dec 9 postmark. it's painful, i know; hang in there and good luck to everyone!
I feel ya b3starr! I also got those Big Fat Red letters that say "Denied".(was the status always in red font or does it just seem more red to me today) They even kindly let me download my rejection letter. . Anyways congrats to all those whos been invited for an interview, and for all those who are rejected,.. don't put your head down. its not the end of the world (..pat on the back..). lol. Well.. im ganna go soak in this moment of rejection and get some booze going on with my buddies . Good luck everyone!
I received an interview for the FNP specialty yesterday!! My interview is 1/29. The letter was postmarked 12/15. Congrats to all who received an interview! Good luck to all who haven't heard yet. And, if you have heard negatively, don't let it get you down. Just keep being persistent and think positive. Things will work out for you in the end.
hey MPHgirl, I got an interview for FNP on the 29th too. Congratulations to you and those have received the good news. It's my second time applying, so don't give up for those of you who applied. If you really want it badly this year, I think University of Hawaii is still accepting application until Jan 2. Happy Holidays everyone :)
