I thought I would start a new thread. I've read quite a bit of the activity from previous classes and I thought it would be great to get a community of support started for those who have applied for UCSF's MEPN program... not just for us now, but for the future applicants who will read our posts! (: (the added bonus is this thread will be in gender neutral territory
Would love to hear the stories of folks who are applying to nursing programs (UCSF and otherwise).
Congratulations mpcali, samsam, and ebowman! To those who haven't heard yet, it looks like they send it to the permanent address you put and not your current mailing address. My parents live in San Francisco and the other people who have received their letters are in San Francisco and Marin (close to SF) so you guys might not get anything until next week. I know the wait sucks, hang in there :) For those who did get an interview, are we all the same day? Mine is on Wed January 20th.
I live in the LA area and didn't get a letter today's mail. I guess we will just have to wait until Monday. I am deciding whether or not it is a good idea to run home between work and my anatomy final on Monday...it could be mildly disastrous!
My parents live in Santa Cruz and I used their address. I just called from the DR and they haven't gotten anything yet. Good luck to everyone! Keeping my fingers crossed until Monday :)
Congratulations to those who have heard!!! I'm guessing the rest of you will get a response within a few more days... hang in there!! I'm scheduled to interview on the 22nd- look forward to seeing some of you then!
my boyfriend is working from home today and i've had him check the mail once an hour practically! nothing yet but the mailman comes late sometimes... i am on pins and needles!
I applied to the FNP track and still haven't heard anything yet. However, I did hear good news from Yale today. We should know something by the end of the week, I hope....
