Applications open October 18 for March 2024 cohort.

Honestly my main reason for not applying is that UCSD doesn't have any openings for L&D which is my first choice. In the webinar they said they "preferred" 100 hours, but my friend who applied said that the application itself said "required", so I'm not actually 100% sure.

I ended up submitting the application for NICU. There is a specific question asking if you have 100 hours in an ICU as a student, so they might just not look at the applications that say no to that question. But it's not actually required, just preferred, at least for NICU. I'm going to apply to another unit so I'll see if that one requires 100 hours in a specific area as well.

I mean requires you to answer a specific question about the 100 hours as well.

Is it not possible to edit posts in allnurses once you have posted them? Annoying.

Thank you!

My status changed to "referred to hiring department".

Mine too! I applied to two different units, I got referred to hiring department for one and the other one said others were more competitive.

Anyone sent to hiring department for La Jolla ED?

Which units?

I applied to hillcrest's med-surg and la jolla's ED and got referred only for med-surg

Does anyone know if status "others more competitive" mean we are out of the running?
