UCSD New Grad Program Summer 2013

Hello,

I recently applied for UCSD new grad summer 2013, and heard that they received over 900 applicants. I am unaware of the process of interviewing and application process, does any one have an idea? Have any one get a phone call? all I see is that my application were sent to hiring department. Waiting seem to be forever!!

I applied to Tele unit as well. No word. Does it say that there is really only one position for the Tele department open? Is that right?

I interviewed for the perinatal nicu program...anyone else?

What was the interview like for Nicu? I applied to labor and delivery and wonder when people will be contacted for them. I am waiting and waiting......

Guess I didn't get a perinatal/NICU interview, if some people have already interviewed. That's disappointing. Good luck to those who do have interviews!

I think they will be doing interviews all this week as well, not sure about next week though.

I had a panel interview, and it wasn't too bad...but I guess it's always hard to tell...

I just wanted to know. I had applied for a position with UCSD and my job status says, "referred to hiring department 5/30". today is 6/10/13 and I have heard nothing. Should I follow up with HR regarding the availability of the position? I don't want to sound overly desperate. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. =)
