UCLA New Graduate Residency Winter 2019-2020

I am posting this forum as a place to discuss the UCLA Winter 2019-2020 RN residency application! As a quick update, the application just opened today Oct 11th and will remain open until Oct 20th.

Okay thanks for he update, good to know! Im curious how many applicants are graduating this December vs have already graduated? I finish December 13th!

I'd wait until you receive an interview notification. If you have already received one (congrats, which unit?) , the name of the unit director should be on the invite! However, if you are still waiting and you have questions you can inquire with the recruiter ahead of time because they help handle the logistics of new grad interviews (I think her name is Amanda? It's listed on the new grad page).

Thank you for the advice! I haven't received an invitation yet and my status hasn't changed. I applied for MICU and Med-Surg :)

Waiting for this email or updates is misery! Did anybody get any emails or have any status other that "In review" on their application portal?

MIne just changed from "submitted" to "in review"! Been checking every day for any status changes ?

I applied for MICU as my first choice!

I did! They told me to expect interview requests in the next 2-4 weeks. They said that right now, for those "in review" they are looking at our resume, cover letter, and letters of rec. Once they determine whether our qualifications and words fit the job, they will invite us to interviews.
