I am posting this forum as a place to discuss the UCLA Winter 2019-2020 RN residency application! As a quick update, the application just opened today Oct 11th and will remain open until Oct 20th.
Good Luck ?

mine says "submitted" as well!
UCLA usually prefers in-person interviews, but will under some circumstances do interviews remotely. I'd contact the UD and recruiters ASAP if they express interest.
Just wanted to update my status (although it isn't much of a change) I am an internal applicant who applied on the first day and my status appears to be "In Review". I'll take this as a good sign as the old system would say "routed to interviewing supervisor" if a supervisor has at least been sent or glanced at your application. Good luck to all ?

Thank you for this info! Based on your previous experience applying at UCLA, do you recommend that we follow-up with the UD now, or should we patiently wait for the interview invitation? Best of luck to you as well!

Hello!
I'd wait until you receive an interview notification. If you have already received one (congrats, which unit?) , the name of the unit director should be on the invite! However, if you are still waiting and you have questions you can inquire with the recruiter ahead of time because they help handle the logistics of new grad interviews (I think her name is Amanda? It's listed on the new grad page).

I'm also an external applicant and applied on the 4th day. Mine still says "submitted".
