The confirmation email they sent right after app was submitted has instructions on how to log into your profile and see your status.

Hi, I'm also an internal applicant. I keep hearing mixed things about whether it matters or not. My application still says "submitted".

Do they review applications all together or is it based on the units applied to? Would everyone who is moving forward see that their application is "under review" now or it is unit based?

They didn't  really offer that much detail on the process. They review each application and then pass on to individual units and from there the unit decides who they would like to interview. Your application may get sent to several units and there may be more than one round of interviews until each unit fills all their openings.

Hi! I applied to NICU and PICU and also received an email yesterday that my application has been sent to the hiring manager for further consideration! My status says In Review
