I applied to the main OR and the medical procedures unit. I wish I could have applied to the ambulatory surgery center too!!

Hello! Following this page as well, I applied to PICU and NICU!

Hey everyone,

I'm applying for the second time! I went to the interview stage for Neuro/Trauma ICU last time and received a rejection. Hopefully the fact I have my RN license and ACLS now boosts my chances. I'm an internal applicant as well. Good luck! Its so tough in CA as a new grad now 😞

Yikes im internal too and vested. It's so stressful, there should be a more direct route from CNA to RN if you've already worked for a long time but we have no guarantees..

I applied to NICU and Perinatal.

They will be interviewing in November. Emailing about 3 weeks before the interview date, interview will be virtual. Decisions regarding the interview/offer will be sent out Dec 23rd

Thanks for the update! Been wondering when they'll be choosing applicants

I filled out my application and created my account with UCLA but when I go to review my application my resume is nowhere to be found. It prompted me to submit my resume at the start but then it filled out my work experience/volunteer experience in those little boxes instead of attaching my resume to my application and this doesn't show my clinical experience either. When I go to my UCLA profile my resume also doesn't exist there. I'm wondering if this is normal or if I have to fill out all the boxes and work experience area with my clinical experience. I only see upload areas for my cover letter and 2 letters of rec. Thanks!

When you log into the ucla portal where you can see your submitted application, you'll see that it says application date (the date you submitted), resume pdf (this is clickable to review), and then application pdf (also clickable). Your resume should be there, especially if you uploaded it first thing. Before submitting the application there was also a section where you could upload it again. I hope this helps!

I applied to med-surg but I am from out of state and I'm worried that will reduce my chances of being selected. Is anyone else from out of state?

I'm out of state for school, but originally from the area! They said being out of state doesn't affect anything, so hopefully not:) Best of luck!
