  1. You can, but I really don't think it's necessary. Have BLS and ACLS if you want ICU or emergency room, otherwise you can wait until you are hired for the Tele course. We went over it in orientation too, so you can wait if you don't want to pay for it.
  2. Congrats !! That's awesome news !
  3. Whoa how weird! Keep us posted. Maybe someone else declined a position and you were next best candidate in line. Fingers crossed you get good news. But since it's Friday I recommend calling just to be sure!
  4. Yup. You shouldn't expect a call soon :) Sorry I meant you SHOULD expect a call soon. :)
  5. They usually hire one for SM and 2 for Ronald Reagan.
  6. Which unit did you just interview with? The latest you will hear back is Good luck to you !!
  7. Did you interview with L&D/ perinatal?
  8. No she's an RN who has been there many years already, not a new grad. They said usually there are 2 new grad hires to L&D per cycle.
  9. Did anyone actually end up interviewing with L&D or perinatal/postpartum? Im internal and one of my friends who works in L&D Ronald Reagan said they hadn't even started interviews yet. Gave me hope that maybe some units are still scheduling interviews this month. I believe HR said they would be making hiring decisions by June 12th so there is still time. Don't lose hope yet !! Anyone in this thread have an interview scheduled with any unit for later this month?
  10. Some of the ICU's do call back for second interviews. It's up to the unit.
  11. Oh you're right! I got my threads mixed up. Yes, Harbor definitely requires you to have your license in hand before even applying.
  12. You need to have your license by the start of the program in September. I have known people who got hired while in their final semester of nursing school. But your employment is contingent upon having the license by the time you start.
  13. No but I applied there as well.
  14. Don't stress at all- it's basically a personality test.
