OR Interview questions Tell us about yourself and why you'd like to join our training program. Did you have any OR clinical time during nursing school? Did they teach you the circulating role or also how to scrub? What kind of specialties did you get to observe? Any concerns about having to work an 8hr day/40hr a week schedule? Or concerns about eventually possibly working night shift of 3-11? Any concerns about having to take call shifts on weekends? How do you learn best and how does it affect your learning when you have to work with so many people telling you to do certain tasks a different way? Could you tell me about a a situation where you had a safety concern and you had to take an action to prevent harm from reaching the patient. When have you taken an action to increase or improve the experience of the patient? Something that wasn't medically related but focused on the experience of the patient and making sure that the patient is satisfied with the care. What questions do you have for us?

Not yet- mine still says in review. Im pretty sure I didn't get in...I saw a couple people have status changes though- congrats to the ones who got in!!

I called yesterday since we were told we'd hear back by last week latest. They said we'll get a response by dec 23rd.

I was nervous too- I think we all were in some way. But I'm sure you did great! They saw something amazing in you to invite you to the interview process which is an achievement in itself. Wishing you luck!
