Hello,
This is for those who applied to UCLA's Summer 2014 New Graduate Residency program, to exchange information and questions.
Thanks! :)
I caved in and called HR yesterday, who could not tell me which units are still giving out offers, but she assured me that offer calls were definitely still going on this week.
Its seems like there are a few units that hasn't heard a peep yet (unless those who received offers are just not on this blog or on the fb blog )...i derno if its a good sign or a bad sign at this point. i think the wait is hardest part. I know a lot of us want an offer / closure! haha....
still crossing fingers for another couple days! good luck everyone! if not ucla, there are many other hospitals that need us!! we just gotta make them realize how much they need us!
Yes, exactly the same for me! Do you know how many people had 2nd interviews? When was your 2nd interview if you don't mind my asking?
May 19th, you? I have no idea how many had second interviews, but based on the initial choices for first interviews, it didn't look like they were interviewing too many.
May 19th as well! Maybe we saw each other! :) Do you know how many had 1st interviews?
Maybe we did! Hopefully we'll be colleagues soon. :) This is all assumptions, but counting 3 people per hour, for three hours on only one interview day, potentially just 9? What hour was your first interview? Maybe we met there too? lol....

Aw, that would be amazing if we could be colleagues soon!
I thought potentially 9 too...but then a friend of mine who was there a different day (before our day) interviewing for PICU met some people who were there to interview for NICU. But maybe she misunderstood something. My first interview was on May 15 between 10 and 11. You?

Hahahah, same here. May 15th, but between 8 and 9. Maybe they other people your friend met were for RR versus SM? Or maybe for Neuro/Trauma ICU but said NICU for NeuroICU? Who knows.....
