I called today. After explaining who I was and why I was calling, I was put on hold for about 10 min twice by 2 different HR staff. Then I was told that one of the nurse recruiders will give me a call later on during the day. So I am still waiting for the rejection email to finally get the closure I need

I never got a rejection or interview either... My status date never even changed and when I called HR (a while ago) they said I'm in the running until my status changes to 'rejected'. Somehow I doubt that!! Let us know what the recruiter says Camidudu

Did they call back? I was thinking of calling them too.

My status/date never changed either. I also find it extremely hard to believe that we would still be in the running, especially when they have already given job offers. I'm really confused.

I finally got the rejection email I send a email directly to the Nurse Recruiter and I received the "Thank you for your time" email a few hours later. I am glad I got the closure I was patiently waiting for.

Hello everyone! The application for the Winter cohort is coming up. For those of you who were able to land interviews and jobs at UCLA (congrats to those who recently started the program!), do you mind sharing what you have included in your app? Did you write a general cover letter & included letters of recommendation from MedSurg clinical instructors & professors, or did you express in your cover letter your interest on the units that you ranked in your app? I believe the nurse recruiter mentioned that she prefers the cover letter to be "general" and not to specify any specialty, but I was wondering if some of you did otherwise and still interviewed and got hired. Thanks in advance! :)
