UCLA New Grad Summer 2012 program

I interviewed for the NICU today too and had the same feedback.... uh oh! haha. But they were very sweet and the interview was very comfortable and seemed to go very well. I hope we hear back in closer to one month! Two months seems like forever away!!!

yes one of them said it was going to be a tough decision and that there were a lot of qualified applicants! well I can't do anything now, it's all in GOD's hands! I just hope they don't have anymore interviews after today! lol

I feel the same! I was quite nervous when I saw the list. I wish that I knew more about the overall stats though (like how many people, overall apply for UCLA's new grad program and then of those who applied, how many actually choose NICU). I think if I knew more about the stats (like if there were actually a lot of NICU applicants and there were only about 10-15 names on that list)....the list wouldn't seem too bad to me. But I guess we will never really know.

What I was kind of confused about and wished I had asked to clarify is when she said they will still be interviewing people....I didn't know if she meant interviewing people ALL day today on the 16th or are they interviewing over the length of next month as well.

I don't know how long the wait is for the other units but 1-2 months seems pretty lengthy...but if there's good new, I guess it is worth the wait :)

I interviewed with them also except it was for peds. They were planing to hire 8 new grads for general peds. Overall it was a great experience everyone was nice.

@kv07 I know that's how I feel! other units are letting them know in 2 weeks! I can't believe ours is 1-2 months!!!!! :/ did you guys get a tour as well?? now Im not quite sure what they are looking for.

I interviewed forNICU and got the same response, but they told me they were looking to hire two- three applicants only. I was the first interview of the day, so maybe they changed their mind's as the day went on.

I interviewed today. My status changed to "In Review" on 4/13.

Mine did too!

But a lot of people's statuses have not changed even if they had an interview.

to those whose statuses havent changed like myself. My friend got hired the last cohort, she got an interview, and offered a job, and her status the never changed entire process said online assesment completed, so no worries =)

Yeah I was confused about that as well! When I asked about when we would hear, she said they were interviewing people all day and then implied that there would be many more days of interviewing which is why it would take 1-2 months. Maybe they are interviewing experienced applicants as well?
