@jayvelle.Thanks for the info! I asked a friend that started in the winter 2012 program. She said a lot of the ICUs are hiring up to 10. and she heard they are hiring 10 into the NT ICU. So good luck to us! =)
Oh wow! That sounds promising! Yes, good luck to us indeed! Any idea what the second interview is like with her?

Yes, that does sound promising! :) I was asked to schedule a second interview as well. If anyone has any information about the second interview, that would be great!!! Congrats to everyone!

hey kmcvolley03.. I will be interviewing with RR Med Surg Unit this week!

Anyone know if it's easier to get hired with RR UCLA or SM??

any advice you can give for those interviewing next week??

Just be yourself. Be confident, smile and be personable. Make sure your answers sound natural, and not reheorificed. Lots of behavioral type questions, at least for mine it was. I interviewed for the liver transplant/sicu

Thanks for your input! Did you interview for RR or SM? Is RR a lot harder than SM? I mean in terms of hiring.. I'm hearing mixed reviews about it.

jobsickRN, what do you mean you're hearing mixed reviews about it being easier to get hired at RR or SM?

Just that people who interviewed with SM got hired and someone I know interviewed for RR and didn't get hired.

She is hiring 10, but is unsure how many new grads. She is also interviewing experienced med/surg as well...

I have a question, or well several, if you all would be so kind to provide me some general information...

For all of you that applied and received an interview,

Have you already graduated, taken the NCLEX and are currently licensed?

And did any of you hold a previous RN job in between from when you graduated and then applied for this program?

I'm a curious student wondering about my options nearing graduation and any information about the application process would really help me. Thank you!
