Has everyone who has interviewed so far had an opportunity to tour the unit?

I was offered the opportunity to tour the unit. She said it was because I was from out of town.

Did anyone's interviewer tell you to email them to schedule a second interview within a couple weeks?

I got interviewed yesterday for CTICU. Any idea why a second interview is necessary? I was told there were 21 candidates for this position and they will choose 9.

I believe that it's only the Neuro/Trauma ICU that does the whole "email me to schedule a second interview." She does the same thing every time. The second interview consists of more questions and a tour of the unit. Good luck! I interviewed for the same unit!

I'm not sure how many she's hiring. She had 6 open spots for the last cohort but I'm not sure if she filled them all. She interviewed 22 people and chose 10 people for second interviews. Although, I think I overheard the HR staff scheduling another day for interviews with her. So maybe there's another batch she's going to interview?

Thanks for the info! I asked a friend that started in the winter 2012 program. She said a lot of the ICUs are hiring up to 10. and she heard they are hiring 10 into the NT ICU. So good luck to us! =)
