It looks like a few people from out of state were offered interviews, so I am sure that is not the problem...have you tried calling and asking HR if there is something you can improve?
Thanks for responding Hercules. I just thought the reference check was a formality more or less, not a prospect for termination of the process. If you know what I am saying...I have thought about it, but want to wait until the chaos of that office settles a bit! For their sake :)
Did anyone else who moved to the references part NOT end up getting interviews? I know that my references wrote glowing reviews, so I am trying to figure out what went wrong. I'm curious as to if it is because I am out of state.
Hi amm1225,
I did not get an interview and made it up to the references survey. I called HR and if you do not receive a rejection email, you could be a possible candidate for the 2nd round of interviews if they have it. When I asked about my app status, she said that I was in the "in-between/maybe" group so I guess that's better than nothing. So, I don't think it had to do with the references because there are sooo many applicants that they're probably trying to screen other applicants too. That's what I read about for the last cohort that some were called in for the 2nd round/after the first interviews so don't lose hope!

Hi..I did. I didn't even submit reference letters on my online application. They asked me to bring it on myinterview day.
I did not receive an interview either but got the reference check. I'm from Missouri but I dont think that's it. I talked to ------- from the recruiter office and I asked her if there was anything I could improve on and she gave me no advice. I guess they are not supposed to give out that information. She did say though they will be sending out an email at the end of the week about waitlisted so if they interview people and they end up not liking them they will go back to the waitlist group and call them. Hopefully there is still a chance.Did anyone else who moved to the references part NOT end up getting interviews?
