How were u able to check your status for CHLA? they said if u dont get a call for an interview by the 23rd then u can assume u did not get one....managers are reviewing packets this week

Hi All. Congrats to those who have already been called for interview? Has anyone heard from OR, med/surg/tele, or oncology for interview?

Just curious, has anyone heard of the applicant pool size for the entire hospital?

It would really be more interesting if there was stats on how many were applying for all the units out of the mix, I mean for every dept. from Adult to Peds to etal.

I finally gave in and decided to pester the recruiting office, and asked that if I hadn't received a call for an interview if I could assume I have not moved on...and they confirmed this. Whaaa whomp. Such a bummer - I know my references wrote glowing reviews, so I'm wondering if it is because I am from far out of state and they are taking more locals.

For those of you waiting in angst like I was, they said everyone will be receiving an e-mail at the end of the week (I assume in regards to saying "thanks, but no thanks").

I don't work there, so I obviously I can't tell you this is definitive. That is exactly what I just heard on the phone, however...I'm a straight shooter. Of course, we know there are always exceptions - I'm just cynical and would rather forgo the hope and just get on with my life (I've accepted another job offer in the meantime, not where I want to be, but I would like to try and get excited about that).

Who knows though. Don't let me rain on your parade if you still want to have it! ;)

Hi first time posting. For those who scheduled an interview for UCLA, did you get a confirmation email the same day? I have an interview on the 12th but still waiting for them to send me an email with the location, etc.
