Hi guys! I just finished my interview with SM5NW (Geriatrics).

I feel I did very well. I made sure they knew I am not planning to get a job as an NP anytime soon. I told them why I went for the APRN (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse) program instead of the MECN (Master's Entry Clinical Nursing) program with UCLA. Hopefully that helped ease their minds about me leaving soon because that was the topic where they put the most emphasis. The rest of the questions were more general. They were all super nice, very friendly, and approachable. They all took turns to ask questions and had encouraging feedback after each of my responses. I felt more relaxed as the interview went on and finished with two questions only because I looked at the time and we were right at the time limit when they finished answering my second question. I could tell they were happy about the questions I had asked so I did not think it was necessary to ask anymore. If anyone has any questions, let me know. Good luck everyone!

NOTE: The platform removed the interview questions I had posted in the comment above. I was trying to remove the whole thing after I received notification, but I guess removing posts isn't an option. Just wanted to post this note because after it was edited, it doesn't really make sense. Hope the reader isn't confused about my comments as most of the content was removed by an administrator.

Does anyone know the email/contact info of any managers in PICU? I forgot to ask and could not find their email address:(

Hi- just email the contact person who arranged the interview process.

Hey, what unit did you interview for? I just finished mine as well. How did yours go?

How did it go? Mine was at 1:30 p.m.

SM 5MN (the intermediate care unit). I think it went okay, I was definitely nervous and stumbled on some of my words. But overall I really enjoyed chatting with them. It felt like a comfortable and easy back-and-forth

Has anyone heard back yet? I know its still early Monday morning, I'm just seeing if anyone did on Friday

Some of us interviewed on Friday 11/17 which was the last day to interview for some units. I was told that we will start getting interview results after Thanksgiving but not before. If you go back on this thread, you'll see one person stating she received an offer and another one a rejection. Not sure how that happened.

I know a friend who was given an offer for the ED a couple days ago. I think it's safe to assume that we don't know anything haha. Even though HR says one thing, the units could very much be doing their own thing, so honestly, it's impossible to speculate when we'll be receiving our offers. Unfortunately, we just have to suck it up until we get that confirmation

Has anyone heard back from 8ICU?

No they did not. I felt like I was just having a conversation with them tbh so I don't really remember how many questions. I am kinda nervous since my interview was too quick and I felt like I didn't express myself enough ?

Have you heard back from 8ICU?

My status just changed within the last few hours from "in review" to "onboarding", for 8ICU. Does anyone know what this means? I haven't gotten a call or email yet.

Oh that's good! That means you're probably gonna get an offer

How do you think your interview went? Did they mention at the end about the 2 year commitment before they will consider accommodating your school/ work schedule?
I haven't heard back yet

Did you get an email notifying you of the status change? Or did you just so happen to be checking your UCLA career log in?
