Hi I recently applied for the Spring 2024 cohort and didn't see a thread yet. How is everyone's application going?

Congrats on finishing your interview! I believe we're both applying for the same unit, if you don't mind me asking were your questions more simple like "why ucla..." or were they more specific for the OR?

No clinical scenario question. Literally I got asked the basic 4 questions: tell about yourself, tell about a mistake, safety and tell about exceptional care ?. When is your interview? Good luck!!

Wow I'm surprised by the differences in our interview experiences. I used the full 20 min answering their questions. I was asked 7, with the first one as a combo on why nursing / why ucla / why ED wrapped up all in one (felt long!)
I think brevity is an asset. So concise responses on your part is a good move & can make you more memorable. Best of luck to you ?
I interviewed for ICU8 and they started a little late. They asked tell me about yourself/why nursing. They asked why ICU, what was my favorite and least favorite clinical and why. They asked about my clinical experiences and what what expected of me during them, kinda a weird question. They also asked where I see myself in 3-5 years.
Congratulations to those who have finished their interview! Wow! You guys jumped on picking the first available slots. By the time I picked mine, there were only a few left on the very last day (11/17) so, I am interviewing until then. Thank you to those who are sharing their experiences. I'm not sure what to think as they seem to be all different, but it does help knowing that (so far) there are no clinical scenarios. Thanks again everyone! Good luck to those who are interviewing tomorrow and the rest of this week! I'll continue praying for now ?
