Summer hopefuls talk here.... good luck to us all!!! :redbeathe
I just talked with Sheri and she said that they are still sifting through applications but that they are going through 200 applications right now to get them set up with Talent Plus but they are still going through more applications. She said people should expect to hear from Talent Plus in the next few days who have already been contacted.
I just got off the phone with Sheri. The are going in the order you applied. they contacted the first 300 applicants that they felt would be a good fit with UCLA. Those are getting Talent Plus calls. They are hiring roughly 100 new grads. If they don't find enough from the first 300, they will continue looking further on through the group. But basically if you didn't apply first thing in the morning, or at least on the first day, dont get your hopes up. They will be having another new Grad program opening at the end of October for those of you who don't get chosen. Good luck to you all.
Hey everyone. I just got my email today for talent plus and the skill survey. Is basically everyone getting this email? Is it a good sign?
For the skill survey, will I be getting another email with a link?
Also I am from NY. I don't know if i want to pay for a flight to LA for an in person interview in the future (if im lucky enough to get one, lol) its like $500! i dont want to pay that unless i know i have the job. do they do phone interviews?
No, not everyone gets a talent plus interview. I think they tend to e-mail those that applied at least within the first day.
& my reference link didn't come in initially because my e-mail address was incorrect for that company for some reason. You should call and ask if they have sent one yet just to be safe.

They will probably be calling you within the next couple of days to schedule the actual interview. If it's not any different from the number I received, it was a 317 area code. It'll range from 45 minutes to 1 hour, it's more personality than anything else. You don't need to study medications or procedures or anything. Just take a deep breath when it happens, don't let your nerves get the best of you. Good luck!
