Did anyone else heard from NICU besides "nursesrockit" ?? Today is the two weeks mark...not sure whether I should be calling or wait a few more days ???

I havent heard anything either! Part of me thinks I didn't get it becuz it would be logical to call everyone your hiring at the same time, especially if its only 4 to 6 new grads! I still have faith though. I'll call the UD on Friday

Oh I'm sorry!!!!! I'm sure I didn't get the job either, otherwise she would have called me earlier too. have you applied anywhere else?

The UD didnt call me either. I guess I didnt get the job offer. Too busy studying for the Nclex to deal with rejection, which will pull down my self esteme, which isnt so high at the moment dealing with the Nclex. I will just wait for the rejection email or phone call.

I interviewed on 4/14 for general medicine and have not heard anything.

I sent a thank you card the next day, a follow-up email the week after, and a follow-up phone call 3 weeks after. I have not heard any response~ i left a message when I called. Each contact I made with the UD.

I'm a little frustrated :/ Does anyone have any info about Gen Med or any suggestions about what I should do next?

I've been taking "no news is good news" as a positive sign, but at this point any news would be nice...

to cchukwurah :yes, i am keeping faith too, as it seems there are no patterns with all of this ucla hiring process:) i just hope we do not have to wait too long...

I guess noone has been hired yet for the LIVER and NEURO ICU and PICU and L&D

I know PICU hired 4 people already. I just had a second interview (3rd counting the phone interview) and the UD said they're taking 10. I believe they're interviewing 8 this week, so I assume they'll choose 6 out of those 8.

has anyone interviewed for liver ICU? i have an interview set up on 5/17 at 3PM. any tips/suggestions are welcome, thanks!

I believe they interviewed 8 last week as well...don't quote me on it though! lol. Are you in the running for the PICU?

Also...not sure if they "officially" hired them. They may not have called them yet, but she did tell me they hired 4 last week...so they could have just chosen 4 and are waiting until they pick the remainder to notify everyone at once?

Hi! Yes I interviewed last week and haven't got a call yet so I was kind of nervous when you said four have already been hired. Thanks for the info though and good luck to you- hopefully we start in the same new grad!
