Recieved a call for OR today too! Good luck everyone!

Are you local from LA?

Are you local from LA?

No, I'm from the bay area. Sorry I couldn't reply to your PM, I haven't written enough posts yet :(

Congrats! I'd kill for a job in NYC (figure of speech of course).

Congrats to all who have received a call. I sent an email to UCLA a few minutes ago saying that I will not be able to go to their interview on Nov 15th. I have accepted an ICU offer here in New York City!

Hello everyone,

I graduated from Rutgers camden in NJ with a BSN in May. I have no nursing experience (i don't even have nurse aide or externship experience). My first choice for this residency program was Stepdown/med surg in both locations. I was ecstatic to receive a call from HR today saying that I have an interview with them Nov 15th. I'm flying out there on thursday. Good everyone!

Hi eager applicants,

For anyone who selected ED for their first choice, um, good luck landing an interview.... I heard straight from UCLA that they are only looking to hire two people, and invited only 4 to interview. ED always has internal applicants and a TON of externals. I also know they are initially looking at your first choice for units, so you really do have to choose wisely and strategically (i.e. better chance to get that interview call if you pick a unit hiring lots of new grads).

I also know that they will continue to call candidates throughout November after the first round of interviews depending on the units and how they like the people they interviewed.

Did anyone get a call for psych yet???

Did anyone get a call for psych yet???

Not my phone :( If there's any call for me (crossing fingers), I'll post it. This waiting so distracts me from other things! Drives me crazy! Big congratulations to those who have gotten calls back! For everyone else waiting like me, hang in there folks!

I finally got a call for a PICU interview at Ronald Reagan! The woman I spoke with said there are a lot of slots still open for PICU so just patiently wait everyone!

Recieved a call for OR today too! Good luck everyone!

Hey! Congrats on your interview!

Is your interview in December as well?! What time are you interviewing? Do have experience in the OR? I'm already so anxious knowing that we're going against experienced nurses! I forgot to ask how many people they were looking to hire, do you happen to know? :]

Got a call for NICU today! Eeek! They're still calling folks, so keep the faith people! :)

I am excited to be interviewing for NICU and I wish all of us all the best in our interviews. I was just wondering how are the NICU guys preparing for the interview?:nurse:

I got a call the other day for an interview on the Psych unit on Nov 15th!! Anyone else get a call for Psych or Med/Surg? Good luck everyone!
