Hey Guys!
Just wanted to start a thread for people who applied to UCLA's new grad nurse residency program! Lets keep each other updated!
Hello! I applied to general ICU and med-surg and got a status change on 11/1 - Routed to interviewing supervisor.I wish I knew they were going to add SICU and CICU. They weren't available options when I applied.
I heard about the long processing times at the CA boards so I submitted my application for licensure a month ago and they replied within 2 weeks saying my transcripts were missing. I'm working on that now but I thought that was a pretty fast turnaround time! I graduate in December so my goal is to take the NCLEX by February!
The application is on the Breeze site, right? Just want to make sure because I haven't submitted mine yet... And did you submit your fingerprints too?
I'm from CA and yes they require livescan. It's pretty easy because its electronic, so afterwards they will send the fingerprints right away. I believe you also submit your copy of the livescan on breeze.ca.gov.
wangja80- I graduate this December. So are we able to complete and submit our breeze application now? Leaving our transcripts the only thing to submit later?
On the application it specifically says, "if you are a student graduating soon from a California nursing program, please do not submit your application until two weeks prior to your graduation date.......submitting your application too early may prolong our process."
Out-of-staters can apply at any time
